FUROSEMIDE MECHANISM OF ACTION (NURSING PHARMACOLOGY)

Furosemide (also known as Lasix) is one of the most common medications you’ll give during nursing school. And it’s one of the most important medications to know for nursing pharmacology.

Furosemide is a diuretic (more specifically, it’s a loop diuretic), that has a very particular mechanism of action in how it acts in the body.

In this video, we’ll cover the mechanism of action of furosemide, so that it will finally *click* for you, and you won’t need to stress about it anymore in nursing school. Because, well…that’s what we’re here for, right?! 😉

So if you need to learn the mechanism of action of furosemide, or the mechanism of action of loop diuretics for your nursing pharmacoloy class, than this video is for you! 🙂
